  • 2009/142/EC GAD will be upgraded to Regulation (EU) 2016/426 (GAR) on April 21, 2018

  • ●  The transition from directive to regulation reduces the chances of ambiguity during interpretation by member countries, which could ensure the implementation consistency in EU. The transition from directive to regulation doesn’t need separate approval of each member country
