Aerial Inspection of PV Power Plants by Drones Webinar

December 2, 2020 @ 10AM EST/ 4PM EU
Session 1: Aerial Inspection of PV Power Plants by Drones

Drones provide a practical and safe supplement to ground inspections of PV systems in large or hard to access areas. Drones are used to monitor solar site construction or to conduct regular assessments

Those are some needs that we can cover during Development, Construction, Commissioning and Operation to ensure efficient power generation, long project life, to ensure optimal performance of your PV systems and profitable investment

The webinar highlights risk and benefits that are finding throughout the PV project lifecycle, Development, Construction, Commissioning and Operation using drone inspections.

It shall be elaborated what measures and actions owners, operators and EPC should take, in order to reduce risks or control processes throughout the PV project life cycle using drone inspections.

Session 2: Mobile Lab

PV modules are a vital part of a PV Power Plant and its guaranteed performance is directly linked to the project’s return of investment.

It is fundamental to assure the PV modules guaranteed performance in a PV Project, from its installation throughout the project lifetime. In the past, it was required to transport the modules to a laboratory to assure low uncertainty measurements, risking damaging the modules during shipping and increasing the downtime of the PV Plant.

It is now possible to assess PV modules performance and condition in the field, quickly and precisely without having to take the modules offsite. This allows for quick detection of failures, whether prior to the installation or while investigating a PV module failure while minimizing the downtime and cost of operation.

This webinar explores the possibilities and benefits of performing PV module performance analysis directly in the field, providing a reliable and cost effective way to evaluate your assets.
