Anja Oels is a distinguished professional with a rich background in international relations and environmental management. A graduate from the London School of Economics with specialization in international relations, she furthered her studies in environmental management at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.
Anja's career trajectory includes conducting comprehensive environmental risk assessments and due diligence evaluations. Since 1999, Anja has been an integral part of TÜV Rheinland's Certification of Management Systems. Currently serving as the Head of Department for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, she brings a wealth of experience to the table. Anja's expertise spans across various standards including ISO 14001, EMAS, ISO 50001, European Emissions Trading, and ISO 45001, among others.
An active contributor to the field, Anja Oels is also a valued member of the ISO 14002-3 working group, focusing on the application of ISO 14001 in the context of climate-related challenges.
