Introduction to ISO PAS 8800 “Road Vehicles — Safety and artificial intelligence”
This training aims to provide participants with a deeper understanding of safe AI in the context of road vehicles, focusing on the opportunities and challenges of applying AI to autonomous driving and ADAS. It introduces the guidance of ISO/PAS 8800 as the first international framework for AI safety in automotive systems and explains how it complements existing standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO 21448. The course also highlights practical challenges in implementation, including data quality, algorithm transparency, verification and validation, and operational safety assurance.
