Compliance Deadlines

Important: All effective dates for Reese's Law compliance have now passed. This means all product types are required to comply immediately.

Products manufactured or imported on or after December 20, 2023 (88 FR 65274); enforcement discretion through March 19, 2024
Button cell or coin battery packaging
Must meet labeling requirements of 16 CFR § 1263.4
Products manufactured or imported after September 21, 2024 (88 FR 65296)
