Best Practice: Daimler & TÜV Rheinland

Combined Certifications & parallel inspection procedures
The combined certification in cooperation with TÜV Rheinland was a pilot project in Daimler‘s production network. I am sure that this example will set a precedent and that other sites will follow suit. Overall, combined certification is the future, because growing globalization and the increase in economic relations with companies in more countries increasingly demand compliance with specific standards. If this trend continues, there is hardly any way around the simultaneous assessment and certification of several standards.
