EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542:

Here’s what the automotive sector should know!

Global demand for batteries is set to increase significantly, with the EU projected to account for a substantial portion of this growth. Circular economy, a reduced carbon footprint, recycling, due diligence: The EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542 is the first of many new provisions to come within the next years. In general, many of these changes have to be addressed by a notified body like TÜV Rheinland.

Especially for the automotive sector many of these regulations are new at this point. In our webinar “Navigating the EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542 for Automotive Applications” we provide stakeholders of the automotive industry with valuable first-hand insights about implementing this directive.
TÜV Rheinland is the perfect “one stop shop” to address all regulatory requirements with the support of one single notified body. Utilize TÜV Rheinland’s global network to plan, prepare and implement legislative regulations – together with the global market leader in type approval.
