Functional safety assessment of an automated machine

TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety & Cybersecurity Training Program

The TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety & Cybersecurity Training Program was founded in 2004 in cooperation with multinational enterprises, supporting engineers and technicians in gaining and extending their knowledge in Functional Safety according to the international relevant standards IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 and further application related standards. In 2017 the program was extended to also focus on Cybersecurity for Industrial IT (industrial security / automation security).
Our Training Program is one of the only worldwide extended vocational training program in the area of Functional Safety & Cybersecurity where knowledge and competencies are approved of by a third neutral party.
By paying for and attending their training, qualified engineers and professionals working in the field of functional safety will have the option to take a final exam in order to receive a TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety Engineer certificate or a TÜV Rheinland Cybersecurity Specialist certificate.
TÜV Rheinland North America has invested in the future with a brand new, 65,000 square feet sustainable mix-use laboratory-office space.

TÜV’ Rheinland's Technology and Innovation Center will facilitate our client and partners with end to end solutions while providing space for collaboration, troubleshooting, training, meetings and customer space.
The TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety & Cybersecurity Training Program is now also available online. Our live, online trainings are held like a classroom seminar at a fixed, scheduled time. Participants will need a PC/laptop or mobile device with a stable internet connection. The online exam can be taken with the help of a tool. On a scheduled day and time, examinee and exam supervisor will be connected via laptop/PC. While completing the exam questions, the exam supervisor will proctor the examinee.
