IMechE Summer Sustainability and Decarbonisation Event and Summer Barbecue
IMechE North East Region is hosting a Summer Barbecue on the 3rd July 2024, to celebrate the successes in Sustainability & Decarbonisation.

Sustainability and Decarbonisation are the themes for this IMechE event, with speakers from Tees Valley Combined Authority (Head of Net Zero) and Centre for Process Innovation (Managing Director for Materials). The event, supported by the Chemicals Industries Association (CIA), will provide you with an opportunity to network with fellow engineers and professionals in an informal and social setting.
The Teesside and North East of England Region has attracted record investment in Sustainability, Decarbonisation and a path to Net Zero. This event will allow for engineers and professional from public, private sector and academia to celebrate the many achievements of our industrial sector, over the last 12 months.
The event is supported by a number of organisations and sponsors including Chemical Industries Association (CIA), TÜV Rheinland and Tracerco. Their support helps us ensure we keep this event as inclusive and affordable as possible for everyone.
Pre-registration will be required to ensure there is sufficient catering for all. There is a small charge for attending the event, to cover the cost of catering and drink at the event. TÜV Rheinland have a small number of complementary tickets for our customers.
