Strengthening Sustainability Claims Through Certified Processes

Discover how robust certification schemes validate your processes and enhance brand trust.
Companies across the globe are facing mounting pressure to substantiate their environmental and sustainability claims. This is driven not only by an increasingly complex and tightening regulatory landscape, particularly in the EU, but also by heightened consumer expectations and growing demands from investors, NGOs, and the public for greater transparency and accountability.

Yet for many organizations, verifying every individual claim—especially when dealing with hundreds of Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs) or multiple Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs)—is neither financially nor operationally feasible. The need for scalable, practical, and reliable assurance mechanisms has never been greater.

This on-demand webinar explores how companies can meet these challenges by adopting a certified process-based approach to environmental claims. Featuring a case study of TÜV Rheinland’s certified PCF methodology, we will highlight how process-level certification can reduce complexity, control costs, and increase the credibility of sustainability data at scale.

At the heart of this discussion is the launch of the TIC Council’s Sustainability Process Certification - a new industry-led framework designed to provide a standardized, transparent, and auditable approach to certify the company processes that manage and generate environmental claims. Aligned with the objectives of the EU commission and other emerging regulatory frameworks, this certification scheme covers a broad spectrum of environmental data and claims, offering companies a way to future-proof their sustainability strategies.
