TÜV Rheinland North America invests in brand new state-of-the-art Technology and Innovation Service Center in the northeast United States

Boxborough, Massachusetts - February 23, 2023 - TÜV Rheinland launches construction of a brand new multi-million dollar, advanced technology product testing and certification facility in the greater Boston region. The state-of-the-art facility is expected to open at the end of 2023, becoming a first of its kind in the Northeast US. This product safety and quality platform will also serve as a technology and innovation center, supporting domestic and global customers with their product and technology needs. Products supported services include categories such as charging stations, energy storage systems, home appliances, connected products, high technology components and systems, medical devices, and robotics.

The full service hub and technology/innovation center, affords customers with end-to-end solutions at various stages of the product lifecycle, while providing space for collaboration, troubleshooting, training, meetings and customer space. Clients and partners have complex strategies and needs, and will be able to take full advantage of time savings, assist in decreasing their time to market, onsite collaboration with engineering and compliance advisors, and access to regulatory expertise. The new site is only 12 miles from the existing location. The dramatically larger footprint will include a comprehensive electrical safety, wireless, EMC and Environmental testing infrastructure, productive office space for client interactions, and an exciting new office environment for regional staff across business lines and support functions.

TÜV Rheinland North America completes the foundation of its new Technology and Innovation Center

Boxborough, Massachusetts - April 11th, 2023 - TÜV Rheinland North America completes the structural foundation of its new Technology and Innovation Center (TIC), located in the Boston area. This new facility will be the company's largest product testing and certification center in the Americas region.

The name we have selected for the new facility: Technology and Innovation Center was chosen, because it will have the latest technology in the market to perform tests and certifications for customer sectors including electrical product safety, Medical Device Testing, EMC Testing, Robotics, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Photo Voltaic Inverter and Energy Storage. As part of our solutions, we will offer efficient full-market-access-service for almost all regions of the world – from industrialized countries to emerging markets and developing regions. TÜV Rheinland Marks Milestone in NAM Expansion with two cutting-edge facilities

Boxborough, Massachusetts – November 16th.- TÜV Rheinland North America proudly announces the finalization of its expansive investments into U.S. testing, featuring the first preview of the state-of-the-art Technology and Innovation Center (TIC) in Boxborough, Massachusetts, alongside the relocation of its laboratory in Bentonville, Arkansas. These cutting-edge facilities, encompassing a total of 85,000 square feet, will be fully operational by the close of 2023, delivering strategic solutions to pivotal clients across diverse industries in the region.

In celebration of this significant achievement, Dr. Michael Fübi, Chairman of the Executive Board of Management of TÜV Rheinland AG, personally visited both facilities. This state-of-the-art facility, spanning 20,000 square feet, will serve as a dynamic hub for comprehensive trainings, advanced laboratory testing, and collaborative office space. With the cooperation of these industry leaders, TÜV Rheinland will facilitate the integration of essential equipment, enabling the delivery of holistic customer solutions.

During the 2023 IEEE International Symposium on EMC+SIPI held in Michigan, Jonathan Kotrba, Vice President of Products Americas, expressed his enthusiasm for the strategic alliances: "We are thrilled to join forces with renowned industry players, as this collaboration empowers us to offer our customers an extensive range of advanced equipment and training.
