The UNECE WP.29 R155 regulation is reaching a new milestone for the automotive industry in Europe by July 2024. All new passenger cars, vans, trucks and buses as well as light four wheeled vehicles (only if equipped with automated driving features classified as SAE Level 3 and higher) had to follow R155 for all new vehicle types from July 2022 and R155 will become mandatory for all new vehicles produced from July 2024.
