Sustainability and the protection of resources are becoming an increasing focus of politics and business. The EU is implementing stricter requirements to reduce the ecological footprint of products and promote the circular economy. One key measure is the new Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), which sets standards for sustainable product design.

With this regulation, the EU Commission aims to promote more environmentally sustainable and circular products. It came into force on July 18, 2024 and also applies to products from the photovoltaic sector.
Webinar: Eco-Labeling, Eco-Design & Energy-Labeling

Date: Thursday, April 3, 2025
Time: 10:00–11:15 (CET)
Language: English
The ESPR presents new challenges for manufacturers in the solar sector. Our webinar "Eco-Labeling, Eco-Design & Energy Labeling" will give you a helpful insight into the new regulation and its key implications for photovoltaic products.

In the context of this webinar, we will  also explore the role of testing, inspection and certification companies such as TÜV Rheinland. Our experts are directly involved in a study by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), which focuses on developing standardization methods for the eco-design and energy-labeling of photovoltaic products. TÜV Rheinland is leading the Ecostan PV project on this subject. We would be pleased to present the project to you and share insights into the future of energy labels for PV modules.

Stay ahead – get exclusive insights into eco-design, eco-labeling and energy-labeling.
