BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard | What's new in issue 9?
The BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard provides a comprehensive framework for organizations in the food industry to ensure compliance with safety, integrity, quality, legality, and operational control requirements. In August 2022, the 9th issue of BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard was released, incorporating advanced ideas and concepts that align with the requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Significant emphasis of this update has been placed on fostering a food safety culture, while also addressing important aspects such as food defense and food fraud. Issue 9 is effective since February 1, 2023.
