Wood pellets are a popular alternative to heating oil or natural gas, as they are considered a CO2-neutral fuel. However, there are serious differences in quality. High quality pellets have the lowest possible pollutant emissions, even with a high calorific value. They ensure smooth operation in the pellet boiler, because no slag or other residues are left behind during combustion. To differentiate yourself from the competition and prove the consistently high-quality of your wood pellets, we offer you the DINplus A1 Wood Pellet Certification according to international standards.
The basis of the certification are the two international standards DIN EN ISO 17225-2 (A1) and DIN EN 15234-2. Our experts
Boris Durnev will talk about the DINplus certification from the perspective of an auditor. He holds a degree in wood technologies and has comprehensive experience as a product manager and auditor for wood pellets at DIN CERTCO. He is familiar with several certifications and their audit requirements, especially in the field of biomasses for several years.
Maximilian Quietzsch will present the DINplus certification and the requirements that have to be fulfilled. He is the responsible product manager for the DINplus wood pellet certification. For some years, he has been leading the world wide DINplus audits and has been in charge of other heating related certifications at DIN CERTCO.
